The Dukan Diet was created by Dr. Pierre Dukan over ten years ago. Millions of French people are using the diet very successfully.  Now it’s published in English, and it’s sweeping through the English speaking world. It’s a high protien diet, but nothing like the Atkin’s diet.

This diet is not just a diet. It’s a plan of eating, and training your body. At the end of the diet you can pretty much eat what you want.

There are 4 phases. The first phase is called the attack phase. You eat nothing but protein during this phase. You can lose quit a bit of weight during this time. It’s a maximum of about 5 days.

The next phase is the cruise phase. You will alternate between pure protein days and protein \ vegetable days. There are about 70 to 80 vegetable to choose from. This phase is 177 days.

The 3rd phase is the consolidation phase. It’s 253 days to stabilize the weight.

The 4th phase is final stabilization.
